Anew Smooth threads can be used to treat crepey, wrinkled skin by replacing and adding collagen and elastin to damaged areas to restore the healthy foundation to your skin.

Threads are sterile hypodermic needles preloaded with an absorbable polydioxanone suture thread which absorbs and produces your own natural collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid to give you glowing skin through biostimulation.

The threads are fully absorbed in approximately 4-6 months for results that last up 12-24 months. PDL threads are often used in conjunction with dermal fillers and neurotoxins such as BOTOX® and XEOMIN® to achieve the desired result.

Smooth threads are placed under your skin in a hashtag pattern that will bring back lost blood flow to the area which repairs and tightens skin and builds collagen leading to a beautiful and natural result.

Threads are placed in the border of the lips to get a beautiful, defined vermillion border. Threads are also an excellent modality to help lessen acne scaring or other scars present on the face and neck. Threads also help treat static wrinkles that Botulinum Toxin cannot eliminate such as frown lines, crow’s feet, nasolabial lines, smoking lines, marionette lines, winkles on the chin, and necklace lines. Threads can also be used to treat double chins by tightening the skin.
